On Notes

This is the second public lane at High Performance Humanism. The Letters are the considered, every-Sunday work: lived moment, principle, science, practice, one curated link. They take what they take.

Notes are the in-between. Half a thought I want to put down before it leaves. A reader question I want to think out loud about. A study I read this week that I am still chewing on. A reaction to something someone else wrote, sometimes with a link, sometimes not. They are shorter than letters — usually under five hundred words. They publish on no fixed schedule but typically twice a month, Wednesdays. There is no broadcast. They live here for the people who come back on their own.

The distinction matters because each lane does a different job. Letters are the publication. Notes are the working notebook left on the desk while the publication is being made. If you want everything in one feed, the Letters archive is enough. If you want the under-the-hood thinking that goes into them, Notes is where it accumulates.

The first real Note will follow this one within the week.
